Overview
In this project, my classmate Ulrik Claesson and I were tasked with designing a landing page for a fictional company. The primary objective was to create an effective platform for collecting email addresses, with a focus on maximizing user engagement and conversion rates. To achieve this goal, we collaborated with web developers and 3D designers, bringing together diverse skills to create a compelling and functional landing page. The main goal of the project was to design a landing page that would encourage visitors to enter their email addresses. This required us to focus on several key elements to optimize user experience and drive conversions.
Design and strategy
We focused on creating a clean, visually appealing design that would capture visitors' attention and encourage them to take action. Our design incorporated persuasive elements such as a clear call-to-action (CTA), engaging visuals, and an intuitive layout.
We crafted concise and compelling messaging to highlight the benefits of signing up. This included a strong value proposition and engaging content that resonated with the target audience.
Process
We began by developing wireframes and prototypes to map out the landing page’s structure and functionality. This phase allowed us to test different design approaches and gather feedback.
With the design approved, we worked with the web development team to bring the landing page to life. This included coding the page, integrating the email capture form, and implementing the 3D visuals.
We conducted thorough testing to ensure that the landing page functioned as intended and made any necessary refinements based on feedback.
Outcome
The landing page successfully met its objective of encouraging visitors to submit their email addresses. The combination of a user-friendly design, engaging content, and visually appealing 3D elements contributed to a high level of user engagement and a strong conversion rate.
